We loved how peaceful and comfortable the house was, with lovely views of the ocean, lighthouse, and sunrise. It was spotless, too. We also enjoyed a winter picnic by the ocean in a shelter along a nearby trail, and even saw an owl on the way. The home has its own character while still keeping the Salt Box Co style, distinct from the one we stayed in earlier in Francois. The Salt Box Co team were friendly, professional, and accommodating. We’d happily book Aunt Christi's again and recommend it to anyone.

The living room windows at Aunt Christi’s look out onto a breathtaking view, and the house was immaculate. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, with good quality equipment that made cooking easy. The bed was so comfortable, and we fell asleep to the sound of waves. Our two-night stay was wonderful, and we’d rent from The Old Salt Box Co again on our next trip to Nfld. Even before arrival, the reservation process went smoothly. Communication was excellent, and when weather disrupted our original plans, they got in touch early with several alternatives. These quaint salt box homes are restored with meticulous attention to detail and make a lovely pied-a-terre for either a weekend or a week away.
