My friends and I felt right at home with the kind, welcoming hosts. Our separate rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, and the included breakfast was delicious, generous, and clearly made with care. We enjoyed wandering through the beautiful surrounding nature and taking in the picturesque views. There are also interesting places nearby worth visiting. It was a warm, relaxing stay, and we’d gladly return. A lovely choice for a peaceful break in a beautiful area.

Julia and Gregory are thoughtful, kind hosts, and they can share plenty of local suggestions if you’d like them. The Danby House is in a great spot for exploring the area. Its rooms are comfortable, and the welcoming shared living and dining spaces make it a lovely B and B. Breakfast was superb, too. If you’re lucky, you might hear Julia play the piano. I highly recommend the Danby House!

We could walk everywhere from this B&B, right in downtown, and there was guest parking plus a pleasant backyard for relaxing. The host family were very nice and accommodating, and breakfast in the morning was great. Our room and bathroom were clean and had some necessities stocked.

I’ve stayed at Danby House twice now, and it’s been a lovely escape from the city both times. It feels like a home away from home, just right for some peace and relaxation. Julia and Gregory are warm, hospitable hosts who make you feel welcome. Breakfast is included, and their homemade yogurt is always my favorite. Being so close to Blue Mountain makes it a perfect staycation. I’d happily visit again and again, and highly recommend Danby House. A very deserved 5⭐️!☺️
