Inn at the Hilton Beach by Elevate Rooms

The hot tub was one reason I booked, but when I asked about it, I was told it was shut down. They offered a cold hot tub instead, which I declined. The whole stay left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, so we packed up and left before sunrise. I’m from the island originally, though I’ve moved away, and it will always be close to my heart. This place didn’t reflect that for me. The woman working in the bar was very rude and spoke down to us. The pipes rattled throughout the building whenever anyone used water. While we were there for the car show, we were charged what felt like an inflated price. We heard from locals that she charges different people different prices, and I’ve since heard that visitors from out of town may get tourist pricing. I can’t say for sure. The place was otherwise empty except for people in the room next to us, who paid a third of what we did. I guess reserving a room comes at a huge premium. Friends of mine from Hilton are banned from her restaurant, too. I give this place zero stars.
