South Thompson Inn & Conference Centre

The room was amazingly beautiful, and I loved the view from the deck while sipping good Keurig coffee. I would’ve liked a fridge. The staff were lovely, and the outside hot tub and pool were good. There’s also a great library of books to borrow. Dinner was good, but breakfast unfortunately wasn’t worth it. I’d definitely eat that meal somewhere else. I’ll absolutely come back.

The property is stunning and the golf course is nice, but for what you pay, this place just isn’t worth it. They raised my rate because of “occupancy” without telling me, and they don’t serve breakfast. It ended up being refunded the difference, but still, I wouldn’t stay here.

We were worn out from the road, so we stayed here. The staff were great, and the owner Owen has some good ideas for improving the landscaping and making better use of neglected parts of the building. This resort could become better than it’s ever been with his direction. I’m definitely going back. Thanks to all the staff.

The rooms are the best value you can get, with the best bed and pretty much everything else being great. The staff are generally super good too, though not quite like the women two years ago who brought wine, 24 roses, and a big grizzle stuffy for my wife. The management issue was rough. My debit card wasn’t accepted, and after I’d driven 12 hours, he said my room would be canceled. I had to rush to a gas station and was lucky to get $600 in cash to pay for the stay. The hotel staff let me do that, even though management had said to cancel the room. The worst part is, payment wasn’t even due yet. I was paying early.
