The room was spotless, and breakfast was wonderful every one of the four days we stayed. The real test came when our car had trouble as we were leaving: Marie-Pier and Patrick and their kind, welcoming team helped right away, so we could get back on the road. We came for some peace and quiet and found it here. Villa Thomas Ward was a lovely experience we won't forget.

We only stayed one night, but Marie-Pierre remembered our names and made the place feel like home. The rooms and shared spaces are beautifully furnished, and breakfast was really nice. It has plenty of historic charm without seeming worn out or due for an update. Such a lovely auberge. We'd happily come back.

We especially liked being able to use the dining room after dinner, as the hosts invited us to do. The house is superb, and our spacious room had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast started with homemade granola and fruit salad, then an egg dish, with a homemade smoothie as a nice extra. The hosts were so welcoming. A classy place, and we had a great two-night stay.

The garden behind the villa makes the peaceful setting even nicer. Our room was great, and breakfast was outstanding. Marie Pier et Patrick are doing a marvelous job, and staying here is an incredible experience. We spent last Tuesday night here, and it’s just as great as ever. I highly recommend it.

The location made it easy to walk to restaurants, cafes and the St. Lawrence river, where catching a sunset is well worth it. Nearby Saint-Pascal has a liquor store (SAQ) and grocery store (Maxi), and Notre-Dame-du-Portage is about a 25-minute drive for the fantastic Pizzeria right on the shore. Make a reservation there. Restaurant hours in Kamouraska can be inconsistent, so check Google Maps. Marie-Pier and Patrick were charming, friendly hosts, and their adorable kids live next door. Merci pour la fleur, Victor! I don't know when I'll be back in the region, but I know where I'd stay. Thanks for a memorable visit. We spent three nights at this charming B&B. The building has classic fixtures and antiques that add to its character, and with only five rooms it felt quiet and spacious. There's a huge backyard with several places to sit with a drink, a pool we used each afternoon, and plenty of free parking. The mini-fridge in the common area outside our room came in handy, and the large living room downstairs was a nice spot to read or chat in the evenings. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and more than enough: croissants, fruit salad, smoothies, yogurt, cereal, plus a different hot item each morning, including eggs and fresh ham. Once they learned on the first morning that I'm allergic to strawberries, we didn't see another strawberry for the rest of our stay. Sorry to the other guests!
