Three Islands Motel

Good value, with clean rooms and everything we needed, including a microwave, coffee maker and TV. The manager was friendly. It felt safe, and parking right outside the room was easy. Downtown is only a minute away by car, and there’s a nice BBQ spot.

THREE ISLANDS MOTEL The motel was quiet at night, the beds were comfortable, and it’s economical and just a few km from Bobcaygeon’s business section. Parking right in front of the room was convenient. Birds sang around the property, and the magnificent old tree in the drive was a joy to see. The room needs a deep clean and paint job. Our feet got filthy just walking around, so I don’t think the floor is washed, only swept. There was mould growing up the bathroom walls. The chair’s fabric was disgusting, and neither of us would sit on it. There were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe, no reading light, and no bathroom nightlight. I bought a $3 nightlight at the local dollar store, which made sleeping much better than leaving the bright bathroom light on. There was no maid service and towels were scarce, so bring your own. They should deep clean the room right away, remove the mould, paint especially the baseboards, and replace the chair. Markers like the ones snow plow people install along the entrance driveway would also make it easier to find at night.

BEWARE OF BED BUGS!! I’d stayed here twice before for two nights, but on this visit my boyfriend and I had to leave early after finding bed bugs in the mattress seams. He was bitten badly in just one night, with marks all over his body. We took pictures to show the owner but didn’t get a full refund, not even enough to cover one night. Absolutely ridiculous. If you don’t want unwanted friends in bed, avoid this place, take my word lol.

It’s a motel, so don’t expect anything fancy, but the rooms were clean and the prices were cheap and fair. The owner was really friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.
