I felt unsafe all night and wouldn’t stay here again. The door was split down the middle, as if police had broken in, and clearly hadn’t been replaced. Its chain was attached with a loose screw, though the knob worked and seemed to have been replaced after whatever happened. The rooms were very dark even with all the lights on. On the highway side, the sun can be blinding. There are very few amenities. They cancelled our booking without warning or a call while we were on our way. My father had to go out of his way to get them to rebook us. After reading other reviews, it seems this hotel may have a habit of cancelling reservations, so call to make sure your room is actually reserved. The pillows were flat as boards, so bring your own. Sugar, whitener and stir sticks came in filthy sandwich bags. The TV didn’t work, so I’m not sure why it’s there except to make the rooms look better than they are. At least there were beds and no visible stains from previous victims. It was far too expensive; this should be a $70-a-night room at most. I’m sure I’ll get a lame excuse for half of this in response.

For around $200 a night with a pet, we expected better. The bathroom was leaking, and although we told the front desk, nothing got done. It seemed there was only ever one person on staff. The outlets on the lamps didn’t work, and our door was missing a guard and looked as though someone had tried to pry it open. Quiet hours are a joke when nobody is around to enforce them because the lobby closes from about 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. This is absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

We booked a ground-floor pet room a week ahead, but when we arrived they said there wasn’t one and offered a second-floor room instead. After my surgery, I couldn’t manage the steep stairs. We went back and forth and felt we had no choice but to check in. Then, as we were paying, the price nearly doubled from our reservation, with no explanation. They said our reservation confirmation was incomplete and that the new price was what we’d have to pay. We left. That dump wasn’t worth $600 for two nights. I’d rather sleep in the truck. Avoid this place at all costs.

No heat in the room, and one towel had a dirty handprint on it. The staff were incompetent. I never want to come back.
