I’ve stayed in the newer building before, and it was definitely the better choice. This is an older hotel, so it shows its age. The bathroom was tiny, with no counter space or outlet, and there weren’t many plugs in the bedroom. The pool wasn’t available either. But the worst part was the vacuuming in my hallway starting by 5AM. It woke coworkers in other rooms too. That sucked.

The building was really quiet, and the room temperature was just right when we arrived. We got a Jr Suite through booking. Com for about 130 per night. I’m not sure whether booking direct would’ve cost much more. It was getting late and options were hard to find, so I took what I could get. I’ve stayed here before and had rooms in the older of the two buildings, so it was nice to finally be in the newer one. The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly.

The beds and pillows are good, but the rest is nasty. I stayed years ago, when it was a blast with a pool, restaurant, lounge, and nightclub. I guess those days are over. 😥 Sad.

I’d stay here again. We were in the new building, where the room was clean and quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The air conditioner woke me up every night, though. I was also disappointed to learn the pool has been closed for 2 years.

I stayed for 2 weeks and they never cleaned my room once. I called the front desk 3 days in a row to ask for it to be cleaned, and nothing happened. On the third day, the woman at the desk suggested maybe my standards for a clean room were higher. I told her the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. They don’t care about their customers and seem to take advantage because they know oilfield workers need rooms either way.
