The waterfront setting is lovely, with great views and a relaxed feel, and it’s easy to walk to Kingston’s historic sites and downtown. I’ve stayed at Residence Inn Kingston Water’s Edge several times and each visit has been consistently good. The suites are roomy, clean, and comfortable, with full kitchens and plenty of space to settle in. Breakfast is included in the usual Residence Inn style. There’s also an indoor pool, fitness centre, complimentary laundry, and straightforward parking. Staff have been friendly and helpful every time. A dependable, comfortable place to stay in Kingston.

The spacious room was spotless and had a cozy, functional kitchen that made it feel like home. Every staff interaction was outstanding, from check-in to Ruth and Christian at what was the best continental breakfast I’ve had in years. We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom corner suite for a four day girls weekend. The hotel is right on the water and close to lots of great downtown restaurants. Breakfast was free, with plenty of good choices, and Ruth was so kind, friendly, and helpful with her suggestions. She’d be an asset anywhere, and I hope this marriott recognizes her value. My only complaint was the cold air blowing at the end of each hallway.

A relaxed hotel with nice views and friendly staff who went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Breakfast is included. Kingston is a nice place to visit, with historic buildings, restaurants, and picturesque views.

Ruth made breakfast a real highlight. I spoke with her each morning, and she was so pleasant, always ready with a fresh pot of coffee. The room was spacious and neat, and surprisingly quiet despite the rooms being close together. My kids and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was great being close to the sights, so we barely had to drive, and the water nearby was an added bonus. We can’t wait to come back.
