Denise and Stephon were wonderful, and helped with our luggage when we arrived. Thank you as well for the Christmas cider! We loved the Martha Stewart feather pillows and the quiet, cozy rooms, with a modern boutique feel and a kitchen. The decorative village and streets at Christmas were especially charming, gorgeous, and felt safe and friendly. Our three-night stay was affordable and made for a lovely visit.

The spacious suite has so many thoughtful details, from the flooring and fixtures to the lighting and fabulous shower. The full kitchen, including its vintage-style fridge, was lovely too. This restored hotel is gorgeous. I hope we can come back!

The Juliet balconies look out over historic downtown Ladysmith, with a lovely view up the hill toward the residential area. The rooms are bright and modern but still keep the original building’s old-time charm. Having a full-size kitchen is a real plus.

Good communication and a perfect location made our first stay at the Temperance Hotel easy. The place was clean and comfortable, with nice furnishings and a modern kitchen and bathroom. We felt warm and cozy. We’d recommend the Fox and Hounds restaurant across the street, too. We’ll be back.

We’ve stayed at Temperance twice now, and the second visit was just as good. The two-bedroom suite was roomy and clean, with well-appointed rooms and very comfortable beds. Ground coffee with filters and cereal bars were a thoughtful extra. We’ll be back!
