Grand Hôtel TIMES Lévis

My Expedia booking turned out to be unavailable because the room had already been booked. The hostess called to explain and offered to move us to a nearby location with rooms. We got upgraded to a suite without any trouble, and everyone was great to deal with. Very happy 😊

The booking system was a problem at check-in: they couldn't find my reservation, even though I had the confirmation and reference number. Luckily, the staff sorted it out and honored the price I'd booked through another app. They were friendly, too. The room was clean and modern, and I loved its style. The bed was comfortable. There's a big lobby where you can relax with your family after a walk outside. Parking is limited.

Sebastian at reception made our stay memorable with his kindness and professionalism. French is his first language, but he made every effort to speak English with us. Whenever we came into the hotel, he greeted us with a warm smile and was ready to help. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Sebastian is a gem and deserves recognition for his wonderful service!

The hotel makes a flashy first impression, with high ceilings and modern finishes, but the rooms feel very bare bones once you're settled in. Supplies were limited to shampoo, hand soap, and body wash, with no conditioner or lotion. There was no room information about where to find things, so even with an ice bucket we had no idea where the ice machine was. They could cut back on some of the 10-plus lights, including the ones lighting the artwork, and provide a little more. At checkout I had to pay $17 for parking, which nobody mentioned at check-in. The garage door was finicky too, and only opened when I got as close as humanly possible. The hotel was fine, but there are better, cheaper options down the street with a good breakfast. Unfortunately, those were sold out when we needed a room.
