Lillooet Hotel Victoria

I was here for business and found the room clean, with a cooktop and easy access to amenities. The furniture and decor were very basic. The attached restaurant stayed open until 10 pm while other places closed at 8. It served Indian food that wasn't too spicy, and the service was amazing. Staff were enthusiastic about helping me and other customers. The place is under new ownership, and I can't wait to return and see the upgrades. Thank you.

The mountain view from our room was stellar, and the Indian restaurant's $20 buffet dinner was a steal. The Butter Chicken was phenomenal, definitely worth trying. We drove from Whistler to Lillooet for hiking and raw nature photography, and the town and the scenery along the way had so much to offer. We stayed at Victoria Hotel, arriving late in the evening and checking out by 11 am. For a 3 star hotel, the rooms were worth what we paid. The kitchenette had an oven/range, fridge, microwave, two sets of dishes, cups and bowls, plus pots and pans. The furniture and fixtures were dated, but everything was clean, including the washroom, linen and beds. My little one kept busy playing the piano in the lobby. What stood out most was the warm, welcoming, invested Manager, Sagar, and his team working above and beyond.

There's no elevator, so carrying luggage to the upper floors can be challenging. I also found the TV connection wasn't working. The hotel and restaurant share staff, and they seemed short-handed. That meant I had to wait about 30 minutes to check in.

The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. The attached Indian restaurant served excellent food, and the staff were accommodating and courteous. They were handsome, too!
