Lunenburg Arms Hotel and Spa

We were in town for a wedding and were pleased with the whole experience. The hotel is right in the centre of town, with clean accommodations and excellent value. When we couldn't find a taxi to the wedding venue, an off-duty employee overheard us and offered a ride. That was such a kind thing to do. Thanks for the hospitality, it meant a lot. We'll be back and will recommend the hotel to others.

The location was hard to beat, and the hotel had a cute, quaint vintage feel. Our room was okay, though the AC was quite loud, and hallway noise continued through the night.

The renovated rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the update makes them feel comparable to high-end city hotels. I do miss the old-world charm, though. The location is perfect, between the waterfront and the street with all the good places to eat. Staff are friendly, outgoing, and wonderful. A housekeeper even remembered me from my last visit. Judith at the front desk is always a pleasure to talk with, fashionable, bubbly, and professional. The Arms Hotel is lucky to have her. Every stay is a joy.

We visited Nova Scotia in July 2025 and stayed in room 405 at the Lunenburg Arms. It was easy to walk anywhere we wanted since the hotel is close to everything. We had great harbour views from the room. The bathroom was comically tight, but we managed.
