The room was clean, and the shared bathroom was cleaned every day. It felt like a safe area, and getting in touch with the host was straightforward. Wolfville and nearby attractions were close by. Breakfast was okay, with eggs, muffins, white bread, yogurt, cereal, and juice, though we missed having fresh fruit. We also wished the bedroom doors could be locked from the outside so our things were secure while we were away. The house's front door was left unlocked. Still, we had a pleasant stay.

Zelda puts thought and personal touches into making guests feel at home. The Gaspereau area was so quiet and restful. There are lots of wineries nearby, along with seafood and craft beer options, and many artisans and First Nations people in the area made it a memorable cultural experience. It’s also a handy base for exploring Annapolis, and Halifax is an easy trip from there.

We arrived around 6pm and the hostess wasn't there. There was a note on the door with our name and room number, and the whole house was unlocked. We couldn't secure the room or our belongings, which was a real concern. The bed squeaked a lot and wasn't comfortable. Breakfast was fine, basically help yourself to hard-boiled eggs and muffins. The place was also pretty out of the way. I wouldn't stay again.

Zelda made us feel very welcome. The B&B has a lovely setting in Gaspereau Valley, and that front porch is gorgeous. We were only about five minutes from several great wineries and places to eat. Loved it.
