Lakair Lodge

Boating around the area was beautiful wherever we went. We also had a great cabin at Lakair Lodge for the week, spotless and stocked with lovely bedding, good towels, hand soap, and more. The view from the Sunset cabin was spectacular, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. The cottage was so clean, and Dennis was a great host. I've stayed in plenty of cottages without really enjoying them, but Lakair Lodge changed that for me. I'll definitely come back!

We stayed in Hope and loved the high ceilings, furniture, light fixtures, and beautiful porch view. The newly renovated cottages feel high end, and ours was clean, comfortable, and had a fully equipped kitchen. There are nice decks, BBQs, bonfires, and boat rentals too. Dennis and Denise are doing a great job! 🙂

Dennis's advice on fishing spots and techniques made a real difference for our group. We came to fish and landed a trophy musky along with our limit of slot size walleye, so listen carefully if fishing is part of your visit. The accommodations were first class, and the stay memorable in a lot of ways. I was lucky to visit Lakair Lodge early this year. Management has done an amazing job modernizing this historic landmark while keeping its charm and history. It's not just a fishing lodge. I'd recommend it to couples and families wanting to experience the unique West Arm of Lake Nipissing.
