The housekeeper was great, but the front desk and support staff were usually nowhere to be found. The rooms and suites feel like two-star accommodation at best, maybe two and a half. The website photos are old and hide how dated the place is. Hotel du Lac, my advice is simple: renovate.

The balcony or terrace makes this a nice place to spend a few relaxing days, and the views are great. Tremblant Village is a 15-20 minute walk away.

For my first Tremblant visit of the season, this was just what I wanted. The room, the view, and the service were all great.

It’s an affordable place with a large, somewhat dated suite that still worked really well for us. The ski hill is about 10 minutes away, and there’s plenty of room for a family or two couples.
