The service was warm, courteous, and helpful, and I’d love to come back. I especially liked the relaxing garden, where it was nice to sit and read, and the terrace in the evening with a view of the market dome across the street. The room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast was a pleasant European-style buffet with good coffee, served over a full two-hour window.

A lovely little hotel with an artistic feel and genuinely warm hospitality. There’s a lot of history in the building, which adds to its charm. I liked the seating by the entrance and upstairs, where you can look over the downtown rooftops. I’ll definitely return whenever I’m back in my favorite city, Montreal.

The owner is so friendly, and the location puts you near everything. Breakfast came with yogurt, bread, ham, cheeses, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, and tea. My room was cute and cozy, and the exposed brick and beams were gorgeous. The building is a refurbished barn from around a hundred years ago, which gives it a real sense of the past. When traveling, I’d rather stay somewhere with this kind of character than in a chain where every room and lobby looks the same.

Tucked right into the center of old Montreal, this is a small boutique hotel with loads of charm and a very clean feel. The owner suited the place perfectly, so friendly and accommodating. Thank you, Claude, for all your hospitality! The Morgans

A clean, pleasant European-style B & B right in the heart of old Montreal. The staff and owner are friendly, and the owner makes fresh croissants for the continental breakfast each morning.
