Baymont by Wyndham Montreal Airport

We chose Baymont by Wyndham Montreal Airport because staff told us it had a shuttle. Before booking, I specifically asked about it, and they confirmed one would pick us up and told us which gate to wait at. We booked based on that information. After a long trip, we waited at the gate for a long time, but the shuttle never came. There were no updates or messages. When I called the hotel, the person on the phone suddenly said they had no shuttle service at all. I explained that we’d been told to wait at that gate and that this was why we booked. They denied saying it and insisted, “We never told you there was shuttle service.” They didn’t apologize or offer any help. Instead, they lied and gaslit us, acting as though the earlier conversation hadn’t happened. Being stranded at the airport late after a tiring journey was incredibly stressful. This wasn’t a simple misunderstanding. They misled us into booking and then refused to take responsibility. The lack of honesty, professionalism, and accountability was shocking. If you expect an airport shuttle, don’t believe what they tell you. Save yourself the wasted time, stress, and disappointment, and book somewhere else. This place can’t be trusted.
