The name really does say it all. This corner is the Mile End's beating heart, the center of its cultural, social, political, spiritual, sensual, and historical life. A wonder to see, and a must on any walking or bus tour worth its salt. You can wait 45 minutes for sorbet, or see the unstoppable force of gentrification reach the washing machines. This little corner has everything. Here, “I” melts into “we,” and being alive feels like pure bliss. Maybe you're in town for some bs three-day work conference, maybe you're getting drunk at Osheaga, or maybe you live here. Either way, don't miss the heart, soul, eyes, and g-spot of the Mile End. Snuggle into its bosom and feel the tender love you've been longing for. Hush now, child, you're in the Heart of the Mile End and deeply loved. Also, the bagels are bangin’.
