Boxotel Montreal

The immediate area felt a little off-putting at first, but once my boyfriend and I arrived from the US and met manager Nabil, we knew we’d chosen well. He was welcoming and accommodating, went out of his way to make our stay good, and even offered bath salts for our in-room tub. The room and gym were very clean, and the room was cozy. We liked the hotel’s cool vibe. It had everything we needed: a full kitchen, large bathroom, balcony, washer and dryer, plus a sauna and steam room on the 6th floor, which were amazing. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance. We parked in a garage down the road. We had a wonderful time and I’d absolutely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.

We stayed in Room 301 and would absolutely return. It had a Murphy bed, bathtub and separate shower, a large desk, solid windows that kept street noise low, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfy lounge furniture. We were upgraded, and the beds and pillows were great for sleeping. The bath linens and robes felt good quality, the room was nicely equipped, and the staff were thoughtful and hospitable. Housekeeping even left a mini bottle of champagne and chocolates for Valentines! We slept through breakfast, so I can’t comment on the food. The property has more of an industrial chic feel than a glamorous one, but our stay was wonderful. @Boxotel is a 7 minute walk from the #MTelus centre. There’s paid overnight parking in an open lot across the street. I’d recommend booking directly with the property instead of using a third-party platform.

We had a great four-night stay with my husband. Our room was spacious and clean, and I enjoyed the coffee bar and snacks in the lobby. The best part was the service. I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name, but he was always so nice to deal with at the front desk. We’d definitely book again!

The staff are some of the sweetest people, and it feels safe here. I love that it’s a small business. The rooms are spotless, modern, and really comfortable, with everything you could want, including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The gym and sauna are great too, and there’s an espresso machine with little snacks. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
