We were 11 people staying three nights in mid February 2026 and were given the newly upgraded rooms. They were the best! My room had three of us, and I was the first to try the pullout bed. It was surprisingly comfortable. My friends used the super comfy double beds. The room was spacious, with a well-appointed kitchenette and a huge bathroom. Maka and Mathieu at the front desk were always polite and friendly, and the service throughout was top notch. The free breakfast had loads of choice, and it wasn’t just cold food: you could ask for omelettes or pancakes made to order. Happy hour was one of the best I’ve seen anywhere. Definitely would stay here again.

I’m in Montreal often for work and usually try a different hotel for two or three nights, but this one really stands out. My single room is huge and feels more like a little apartment than a hotel room. It’s comfortable and beautifully set up, with a full kitchen, living area, and very spacious bathroom. I’m really enjoying being here. The hotel feels lively and welcoming. I checked in after work around 6 or 7 p.m., and it was busy in a good way. The reception staff are kind and welcoming, and the server at the restaurant where I just had dinner was so sweet too. I’m having a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again for my next work trip to Montreal.

The restaurant was the strangest part of our stay. We got breakfast and drink tickets when checking in, but there was no one to seat us and no menus when we entered. It felt more like a free-for-all than a restaurant. We used our drink tickets the first evening. The older gentleman serving us rolled his eyes and said there was no menu, and that he could only make simple drinks. No food menu or anything else was offered. The drinks were great, but the service was terrible. Breakfast was just as confusing. Our ticket said it could be redeemed for a made-to-order breakfast, but we found a buffet and had no idea whether to seat ourselves or how things worked. We saw people with pancakes and omelettes, which apparently could be ordered directly from the one chef. There were no servers and no guidance. The whole thing was truly strange. Check-in also took about 30 minutes, with three groups ahead of us and just one person at the desk. The room was nice but needed some work and more furniture. There was a stained shower curtain, some stained bedding, only one bedside table, and one dining chair. The location is great and hotel staff are responsive, but the rooms need work and the restaurant is just bad.

We love this hotel and it’s the only one my husband and I want to stay at. My one small letdown is calling: the phone conversations feel stiff, like everything you say is something they’ve never heard before. It’s kind of weird, lol. In person, though, they’re lovely! Kelly, the front desk manager, is genuinely interested and friendly, and knows how to make a stay special. On our last visit, she learned it was our first wedding anniversary and left treats from the store downstairs in our room. It was such a thoughtful touch that we still remember it. Sarah at the front desk feels like a friend. She smiles as if she really is your friend, which is a unique gift. Patricio has grown more confident with experience since I started visiting and is a strong addition to the front desk. Last time, Michael*****edit it was Eric, not michael******* was a concierge, but this time he checked us in. He was so much fun to talk to, made us feel expected, and joked with us and chatted about life while he worked. A great addition to the front desk. The environment is friendly and fun, and I strongly believe that’s partly because Kelly’s management skills flow through the whole staff.

We paid about $160 a night, which I thought was an exceptional deal. Every room is a suite, with a kitchenette and separate living area, while many other hotels offer less than 250 sqft. The location was quiet and safe despite being across from the Palais de congrès, and Old Port was only about a 10 minute walk away. When we arrived, we’d been upgraded to a renovated king suite for free. Breakfast was included, with omelets made to order, and we also received vouchers for two free drinks per person each day, to use between 5-7. They were pretty flexible about the two drink limit. A true 10/10 experience. Thanks for the stay!
