I’d stayed here three times. My first Airbnb stay was pretty good, so I booked again through the official website. That cost much more, $626 for two nights in loft 1b, plus a $350 room deposit. It really wasn’t worth it. My most recent stay in loft 1E was awful: there was no reception, the upstairs had no electricity, so I had to charge my phone downstairs, the blanket cover was dirty, and there were stains on the downstairs floor. I doubt the maid had cleaned. Then I found out $50 had been taken from my deposit. I felt scammed. Extremely disappointed, and I wouldn’t book here, especially through the website. After seeing the response, I don’t think I’ll ever return. Instead of checking whether anyone had booked the rooms I mentioned and verifying the upstairs outlets, floor stains, or dirty sheets, they quickly claimed they had no records and that these “issues” weren’t problems. I could even provide credit card records showing I’d booked three times. They’ve lost a loyal customer, no big deal.
The location is superb, with lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. It’s about a 12-minute walk to the subway for getting around the rest of the city. I stayed for a conference at the Rialto Theatre. The private rooms were renovated and clean, and getting in, checking in, and checking out were easy. Customer service was quick and willing to help. I’d highly recommend it for solo travelers or couples.
Check-in was efficient with no clerk, and messages got quick, responsive replies. The location is very convenient, in a fun area with bars and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.
I spent five days at the Le Mile End apartments while visiting family in Montreal, and I chose well. The rooms were bright and clean, with very comfortable beds. Staff were kind and attentive, and the location is excellent, close to restaurants, shops, parks, and Mont Royal Park, a beautiful city landmark. I’ll definitely stay there when I come back.
The host was attentive and quick to answer my questions, and the location was excellent. I had a fantastic stay in early August. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the place was just as described in the listing. I’d recommend it and would love to return.
