Hyatt Centric Montréal

Breakfast was the best part for me. The buffet cost 26 dollars, had plenty of fresh choices, and was genuinely delicious, so it felt like great value. The rooftop pool and easy-to-reach, well-equipped gym were also nice to have, though I wish the pool were warmer in Montreal's cold winters. The Hyatt Centric Old Montreal is a bit removed from the area's main bustle. That can suit you if you want somewhere quieter, but in winter I prefer being closer to things, since walking farther in the cold isn't appealing. The rooms were clean and functional, though the industrial look felt stark to me and didn't leave much of an impression. The mattress was too firm for my taste and made the stay less comfortable. It's a good choice if you want modern amenities, a peaceful spot, and a very good breakfast, though the location and bedding mean it wouldn't be my first winter pick.

We'd come back just for the rooftop pool. The water was perfectly warm, and swimming on a beautiful, freezing February night was such a treat. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. A couple of doors down, two dogs were barking, but they stopped in time for us to sleep.

The room had a comfortable bed, good towels, plenty of outlets and USB ports, and thoughtful motion-activated lights. The mini fridge being enclosed in an alarmingly hot cabinet was the one thing that didn't feel ideal. We didn't have time to try the rooftop pool, which looked amazing, so we'll save that warm winter swim for next time. Self-parking with in-and-out privileges worked perfectly, Old Montreal was very walkable, and check-in and checkout were effortless. The staff were friendly and the room was excellent. This is our new favourite place to stay in Montreal. ❤️

We've stayed here twice now and love it. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and parking is convenient and affordable. The rooftop pool is a lovely bonus, and the restaurant's food and service are top notch. We'll keep coming back.
