LHotel Montreal

The room could use some repairs and a bit of care. Breakfast was just okay, with two kinds of pastries, so you'll probably want to eat elsewhere for something more filling. Still, we enjoyed our stay at L Hotel Montreal and would consider coming back for its great location and welcoming staff. The hotel is well placed for exploring Old Montreal, and it was easy to walk to many attractions. Staff were attentive, friendly, and very helpful. The lobby was attractive and interesting, with lots of character.

The hotel's art and thoughtful decor give it a stylish, distinctive feel, with plenty of character. Our room was spotless and comfortable, blending modern comfort with classic charm. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. We had a lovely experience at LHotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

The lobby has a bit of a Hard Rock Cafe look. There's a basic breakfast offered for free in the morning, and valet is the only parking option if you drive and want to park at the hotel. The rooms are a good size, clean, tidy, and spacious. It's a good boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown Old Montreal, close to lots of places you'd want to visit.

We loved our stay at L Hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the suites were incredibly spacious with their own distinctive decor. The artwork throughout the hotel is impressive. It's a small boutique hotel with fewer than 60 rooms, in a building dating to 1870, though the rooms have been updated. You're within walking distance of historic areas, restaurants, and shopping. A couple of things to know: the continental breakfast has a limited selection of food and drinks, and the hotel doesn't accept or carry cash. There's a fabulous coffee shop close by called Crew Co Coffee. The hotel also has a gift shop offering apparel printed onsite.
