The front desk person was nice, and the room and bathroom were reasonably clean. But make no mistake, this is a sketchy dump. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and never felt less safe. There were sketchy people around constantly, and I have a high tolerance for what most people would call sketchy. I'm a tall guy, and I still didn't feel safe stepping outside after dark. When I left on Sunday morning, four people were darting around, looking this way and that and shouting or whispering to one another. I ran to my car and floored it out of there. Avoid this place!

I needed somewhere cheap to sleep after a long drive, and this worked perfectly for my one night in town for a funeral. The rate was amazing, so I saved a good amount of money for other things. The owner or staff member was awesome, kind, and very helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay. A few "interested characters" were outside when I went for a smoke in the middle of the night, but they were extremely polite and friendly. I probably wouldn't recommend it for young kids.

I've stayed here many times for Montreal business trips. It's an inexpensive place to sleep and recharge for the next day, so don't expect the Hilton. The management team seems to prioritize keeping the rooms maintained. There are security guards on duty 24/7, including one undercover, to help keep guests safe at night since NDG can be a bit rough. Breakfast in the front office is simple and ready, and the coffee is great. The manager is chatty, so you never feel lonely. Free WiFi works well enough thanks to the McDonalds beside the motel. The linen is nice and the mattresses are comfortable enough to keep me in bed all day. My one issue is that sometimes the hot water tank can't keep up with the shower, which the manager said happens when too many people shower at once. I really enjoyed my stays. Thanks to the management team, especially Mr. Patel. See you next time I'm in Montreal. ~ Larry

We usually need a ground-floor room because my husband uses a wheelchair, but this motel turned out not to be wheelchair accessible. The kind manager and maintenance man actually built us a temporary ramp. The service was great, and the rooms are clean and quiet. Well worth the money.

For what this place is, it's the best option. It's near the highway, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The guys who run it are great, friendly people. If all you need is an inexpensive place to sleep, this has what you need for a good price. I plan to stay again. Standard cable is a nice change from newer hotels that charge for everything you watch.
