Namaste Suites

The suites were spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could want. Check-in and checkout were seamless, and communication was easy. Management and Philip were especially responsive and accommodating. It’s a great option for families too.

Philip is a big part of why I keep coming back to Namaste Suites. He’s professional, genuinely helpful, and pays attention to the details. He makes each visit feel welcoming and smooth. I’ve stayed here about a dozen times now. The place is always clean and comfortable, and the location is close to everything while still feeling peaceful. It’s become my go-to whenever I’m in Montreal, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable stay.

The shower wasn’t cleared of glass before we arrived. We cut our feet on it, got small shards stuck in them, and bled quite a bit from the larger pieces. The shower door was missing, and its rubber stoppers had been left to the side. The picture frame was also chipped, so it was clear glass had broken in the bathroom. We had to clean it ourselves before we could shower. This was a basic safety and cleaning failure, and I wouldn’t recommend the place. We contacted the hotel through both a call and Expedia chat, but got no reply. We also asked Expedia for help. The hotel took six months to respond to this review, which says a lot about the poor communication. If our requests weren’t seen, they should investigate why messages through multiple channels aren’t getting through. I have screenshots showing that we tried to contact them, so the claim that we didn’t do our due diligence is wrong. We had to contact Expedia directly for compensation, and the hotel refused. They knew the glass shower door had broken in that unit before our visit, so it’s fair to say I’m not making up that glass was still there and cut our feet. They refused compensation and wouldn’t communicate with us directly, only saying no through Expedia. To be clear, they didn’t reply to our call or chat when we reached out. Their lack of responsibility caused bodily harm in a shower, where bacteria and fluids could easily cause infection. Then they stayed silent for six months and accused us of failing to contact them, even though I have proof we did. This didn’t need to become a public review if they had responded privately through any of the channels I tried. I stand by what I wrote and am truly upset they claim we didn’t contact them in time to let them verify it.

The suites were beautiful and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. I loved my stay and will come back.
