The Georgian Residence Luxury Boutique Suites

Kathryn and Bobby really looked after us when my partner got sick for one of our three nights. They made soup and offered something to soothe her stomach. The owners have been doing this for over 25 years, and it shows in how well they treated us. We felt like royalty, just like their very first guests. We stayed in the Hemingway room, where everything was beautifully decorated and we felt thoroughly pampered. The wood-burning fireplace was a treat, and it was ready for us each day. The bed was huge, with plenty of room to stretch out. Breakfast was three courses every morning, each made with just as much care as the last. Can't wait to go back.

The location was perfect, just one short block from the main street, shops, and places to eat. For our 25th anniversary, we stayed in two different suites. My favourite was downstairs, straight back and to the left. The upstairs suite had a gorgeous, possibly eight-foot, gilded mirror in the adjoining room. Bobby and his wife were so nice. The historic inn was beautifully decorated with four-poster beds and original fireplaces, and it stayed nice and quiet despite being on a corner street with a two-way stop sign. Even the bathrooms were lovely, with thoughtful little extras I haven't found elsewhere. It's a wonderful place to stay and a lovely memory. Highly recommended! 💕

We LOVE the Georgian Residence and its gracious owners. My husband and I travel for work and aren't easily impressed by service or accommodations, but this place keeps setting the standard for memorable hospitality. We've decided to make it our annual getaway. Don't miss the Georgian!

The room was nice and clean, and the location was great. There was no breakfast or pool, though, and it cost a little more than other B&Bs that do serve breakfast. Guest reviews in the book made it sound like breakfast used to be offered.
