Ambassador B&B

It was quiet at night, so getting a good rest was easy, and the main tourist spots are within walking distance. Our room was pristine, and even the shared toilet was consistently very, very clean. I spoke with some of the people working there, and they were all very nice. Definitely a good accommodation option in Ottawa.

The peaceful setting made it easy to sleep well after exploring, while Ottawa’s main attractions were an easy walk away. Our room was spotless, and the shared bathroom stayed very clean the whole time, which impressed us. I chatted with a few staff members too, and they were all friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about making guests comfortable.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing for me. The continental spread was pretty sparse, and I usually love B&Bs that serve a home-cooked meal. The bedroom also got stuffy and hot because its windows wouldn’t open. There was a fan, but I still wished I could let in some of the lovely cooler air. The stay was otherwise great: easy check-in and departure, a beautiful house, and a spacious room with an en-suite bathroom. The location made downtown, riverside walks, and the byward market easy to reach.

Mya made our visit special. She was welcoming, thoughtful, and kind throughout, and it’s clear she cares about her guests and puts in extra effort to make things go well. The place was clean and comfortable, just as described, and we had a wonderful stay at The Ambassador. It was a real pleasure staying here. We’ll be back and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
