Pari's Motel

The sheets were clean, and the motel is in a great location, but the room needed a serious clean. There was thick dust on the chair ledges, black marks along the baseboards, and the bath mat had dirty spots that looked like mildew. The lamps and clock hadn't even been checked to see if they worked. A bit of elbow grease would help a lot, and management should take a close look at the rooms and the cleaning staff.

We found this welcoming motel after looking for an affordable place near downtown Ottawa, and it worked perfectly for my wife and me. There's a McDonalds, a gas station, and a cornerstone just across the street, which made the location handy. Manager Al greeted us with a lovely smile and was very helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely come back on our next visit.

Ash at the entrance made the whole stay feel special. Thanks so much!

We booked two rooms a month ahead and confirmed three days before the trip, as we were told to do. Nobody asked for a credit card. Then, while we were traveling from Toronto on the day of the trip, the man I'd spoken with called to say only one room was available and the price had gone up because it was a long weekend. I've never been asked to confirm a booking like that before. Stay away from this dump.
