We just did the coaster, buying the two ride pack two days ahead for a better price. The chairlift ride up takes about ten minutes. Some people complained it was slow, but we saw it as part of the experience. The coasters were fun, and I liked that tents shaded the queue on a hot, sunny day. During our second round, lightning and thunder at the top meant we had to wait 20 minutes for the storm to pass. Staff brought out extra seats for everyone and kept us informed. They handled it well.

It was busy over the holidays, but there were still fresh turns to find several days after it snowed. Tayton bowl has plenty of hidden spots.

In summer, this is a good base for exploring the area, with mountain biking and hiking for adventurers. I imagine the ski village gets much livelier in winter. There’s a lot on site: a general store with toiletries and beer and wine, a gear shop for rentals and hiking or ski supplies, T-bar for pub food, Alto for hand stretched pizzas, and Fireside cafe for morning tea or coffee. Jackpoint bar is open Thursday to Sunday, and you can bring outside food. There’s also The Candy Shop near the pool, which is included as part of the resort, and an equipment repair shop that also sold over cream. A few other spots were closed in summer, including The Beach restaurant-venue and the pub beside the general store.

A great mountain for snowboarders at any level. The kids loved the private lessons, and there’s a nice area for them to practice. Food choices were limited on weekdays during our stay, so pack plenty of snacks or easy to eat food.

I visited the resort on 25.12 and only went to the slopes for skiing. The mountain and hills are beautiful, with lots of different runs. A couple of things were disappointing: I couldn’t find information online about lift operating hours, and there were no group or family tickets, so expect to spend a decent amount. The online ticket order said there would be a 20% discount, but there wasn’t one.
