Snowboarding at Le Massif was one of the best trips I’ve taken, and Pat drove me there and back. I made a lot of friends to ski and snowboard with, and I’ll miss them. I hope I can come back next year. The place felt safe, with a great view from inside. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. I especially loved dinner: Robin and Pat worked together on a rib eye steak that came out almost perfectly medium rare. Breakfast could mean crepes and bacon, or sometimes French toast, and Robin would offer apple juice or another drink whenever he noticed someone was hungry or thirsty. He even got up before the 7:30 breakfast start so we could reach the mountain early. Robin was such a kind, hardworking host. Thanks for looking after us and making so many dinners and breakfasts. The food was delicious, and the hot tub view was amazing. I’m grateful you rescued me when I got locked inside the spa! I also loved playing pool with you, Pat, and Marcandre/mark while hockey was on. Bleu the bird cheered everyone up, even perching on our heads and shoulders. This is my favorite place I’ve stayed anywhere.

We especially enjoyed winding down in the outdoor hot tub after skiing, with that gorgeous view of the St Lawrence River and the mountains. Robin was a fantastic host, and the full breakfast was delicious. It’s a quaint hotel and an easy distance from Le Massif. We really enjoyed our stay!

Watching the ships pass by from the fire pit made for a beautiful evening, and breakfast was just right the next morning. The view was so beautiful I nearly cried. Robin was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like invited guests. A lovely weekend.

The host was great about serving us breakfast before the regular breakfast hours so we could get to the mountain early. We came to ski at le massif, and the place worked out perfectly. The rooms were cozy, the bathrooms were really nice, and we ate both breakfast and dinner there.

With just 10 rooms, the Auberge has a close, intimate feel. Robin, the owner, is the kind of host you hope for. The meals are thoughtfully prepared and presented just right.
