The pool and hot tub were good, and the pillows were decent, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The beds were so thin we could feel the slats, and we barely slept. Rooms were clean, though, and we weren’t given extra blankets. We had three complaints about our kids being loud in the hallways, but we couldn’t tell whether they were our team or the ringette teams. Staff locked the stairs to the second floor, and I’m not sure why, especially with the elevators always busy. We were here for a hockey tournament, with a ringette tournament happening too. We’d booked the conference room so the kids could play mini sticks without bothering other guests, but staff kicked us out on the first night, even though only adults were using it then and the noise wasn’t excessive. I asked the concierge for extra coffee pods since our room only had two and we didn’t need housekeeping, but was refused. The milk they gave me for two coffees was expired, and they said they had no more. Paying $160 a night for what felt like a motel, plus a 4% out of town tariff, is ridiculous. I’d put the nightly price at $79-99 max. Guests should have been told about the tariffs and the tournaments that weekend so they could decide whether to book. Communication and customer service were poor, and the whole stay was disappointing.

I’ve stayed here for a few days once a month, and these ladies are always so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They treat me like royalty. The hotel is older, but it feels well maintained. I think it’s amazing and highly recommend it.

We’ve had to reset our key cards seven times in under 24 hours. Each one works once, then quits, which means repeated trips to the front desk. The conference room was another headache: we kept being told it wasn’t available, then later found out it was. The pillows are decent, but the beds are uncomfortable, and our kids barely touched the free breakfast. We’re here for a hockey tournament with several other teams, and the place feels overpriced and unwelcoming. We understand hotels need rules, but this level of strictness makes it feel more like a prison than a family hotel. Parents weren’t even allowed to have water or coffee while watching their kids swim, which seems excessive. For what we’re paying, we expected a much more welcoming, accommodating stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for families or teams.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and I slept great. Tia on the night staff was cheerful and welcoming, and went above and beyond to help me. I’d only suggest adding USB charging ports in every room, or at least more places to plug in.
