Judith Boroniec made our stay at Talwood Manor first class, from the Highlander Room to the breakfast she serves. She takes real pride in making guests feel welcome, and the place was spotless with lots of antiques to admire. Each breakfast is made individually, and ours was so good that words don’t do it justice. We’ve already recommended this five star plus Bed + Breakfast to others. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, Judith. Peter & Sharon

We stayed several nights over two weeks in the Highlander Room, and Talwood Manor was a much better value than a hotel. It felt comfortable and homey, which made a stressful family matter in town easier to manage. Judith was willing to accommodate us down to the smallest detail. We tried five of her breakfast choices, and every one was as amazing as the first, a perfect way to start the day. She’s created a wonderful setting, and we’ve already recommended Talwood Manor to friends. We plan to come back soon.

During our biking trip along the Welland Canal, we stayed at Talwood Manor and Judith made us feel very welcome. Our room was luxurious and ornately decorated, and breakfast was a real treat. There was a secure place for our bikes, and we could walk to all the restaurants in Port Colborne. I can’t say enough good things about the stay and highly recommend it.

Judith knows Port Colborne extremely well and can point guests toward activities they might enjoy. My husband and I stayed at Talwood Manor for two nights in the last week of September 2025, and we had nothing but good things to say about it. The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated in different themes, and the host has a real knack for making absolutely delicious breakfasts. I’d highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Port Colborne.

Judith made our stay feel warm and welcoming. She’s a kind, friendly, informative person, and a great cook and decorator. We booked the cozy, intimate Tudor Room for the first week of October, and the comfortable bed and lovely soaker tub were perfect for relaxing. We loved the fall atmosphere and will definitely return. Next time, we’d like to try the Highlander Room. We also saw the Ratpack show at Lighthouse Theatre, just across from the Manor, had a bite at Lock Firewood Pizza with a view of the Welland Canal, and brought home takeout from Minors Fisheries: fresh pickerel and perch fish and chips. 😊👍
