Wild Coast Wilderness Resort

The cabin was thoughtfully laid out and exceptionally clean. We’ve stayed in plenty of cabins that smell musty, but this one felt fresh and comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were a great bonus, and I loved that they welcomed dogs, even more than one per cabin. Everything was perfect, and we’d stay again as a base camp when we hike the West Coast Trail!

We saw Sea Otters on a walk to the nearby dock, then woke to lovely birds singing in the trees. It was a really pleasant stay, and we’ll likely rent again next time we visit Port Renfrew. We booked a hut in mid-April for what I thought was the off-season, when only one other family was staying in the other huts. The price was incredibly affordable, around $85 for the night. The huts are pretty and nicely placed, each with an outdoor patio and seating. Inside, ours was heated and had lights, with the lovely cedar scent from the fresh boards. The bunk had a double mattress below and a twin on top, with more than enough fresh, clean bedding. The private bathrooms and showers were modern, clean, and well equipped, with hot water and door lock codes. There were also extra bathrooms on a lower level of the resort.

The larger cabin gave our group plenty of room, and the hot tub and sauna were great to have on site. We could walk to the pub for dinner and were only minutes from the beach. The place itself was lovely, and the staff were fantastic. Loved our perfect little getaway. Thank you all!

We’re already looking forward to coming back soon. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and professional, and they went out of their way to make the whole stay easy and enjoyable. The beautiful setting and comfortable accommodations were even better than we expected.
