The location is really convenient, close to the Qualicum river and its nature trails, with the ocean only a few minutes’ walk away. Local restaurants and pubs are a short drive too. I’ve stayed at the beautiful Riverside Resort several times over the years, and it’s always been a great experience. The reception team are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to point you toward the resort’s amenities for either a short or extended stay. I’d definitely stay at the Riverside Resort again. We’ve had our out-of-town workers stay at Riverside a few times while on shift, and the resort has been very accommodating. The kitchenette rooms are a huge help for staff coming from out of town. It’s quiet, the rooms are very clean, and the team is wonderful. We’d recommend staying there for work or for pleasure.

The Halloween fireworks display lasted about 15 minutes and was fantastic! I stayed at Riverside Resort on October 31st for our Halloween vacation, and had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and just right. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming, and housekeeping was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. I’ll definitely come back. :)

We spent 7 days at Riverside Resort last summer with close friends, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our unit, which I think was a two-bedroom condo, was spacious and comfortable. The beach was only five minutes away, so we enjoyed peaceful evening walks after dinner and watched the sunsets. The waterslide and mini golf were a hit with our group. I also appreciated having a convenience store on site in case we’d forgotten anything. The ice cream was so good, with lots of flavors, generous scoops, and a great price. Having the coin-operated laundromat made the week much easier, and we went home with clean clothes instead of a pile of laundry. It was a relaxing, stress-free stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next summer. I’d happily recommend Riverside Resort!

The townhouses are my favorite of the different room options, and the convenience store really is convenient. I’ve stayed here several times for work, about two and a half months altogether, and the staff have always been kind and accommodating. It’s a short walk to take the dog to the beach. I’d recommend it to a friend!
