Castel d'Amérique Française

We chose Castel d’Amérique Française for a stay at the beginning of December and were so glad we did. Jolanta was an incredible host. The B&B is centrally located, so we could walk to all the sights we wanted to see. Each morning we had a fabulous breakfast with toast and assorted breads, different cheeses, homemade jams, boiled eggs, baked goods, tea, and coffee. In the evenings we had tea in the dining room and played crib in the living room to wind down. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. I'd highly recommend this B&B in Quebec.

The bed was the best part for me, so comfortable, firm underneath but soft on top. I'd definitely stay at Castel d'Amérique Française again. The rooms were enormous, with comfy armchairs and sitting areas, and even in late October the temperature was always comfortable, never cold. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure, with really nice bath and hair products. Breakfast was a plentiful, fresh continental spread with eggs, several breads, breakfast-style cakes, yogurt, cereal, tea, and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the decor was gorgeous, giving the place an old-time feel. It's right in the centre of the Old Town, within walking distance of everything.

Jolanta was such a lovely host and made me feel welcome. She and her daughter have created a one-of-a-kind place. Castel d'Amérique Française is a real gem, with a clean, comfortable, classy room, major attractions within walking distance, great restaurants in the neighborhood, and overnight parking nearby. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Quebec City. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Jolanta welcomed us warmly and made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. The place is well located and uniquely decorated, with an old-world charm where you can easily meet travelers from all over. Our room was spacious and warm, with big windows looking onto the Chateau. We couldn't have asked for a better weeklong winter getaway in Quebec.
