We could walk to all the main sights in Old Quebec, and the hotel's restaurants and breakfast had both great food and a nice range of choices. The rooms were comfortable, elegant, and very clean, with thoughtful details. Staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. The castle-like design and views of the St. Lawrence River and Old Quebec give Fairmont Le Château Frontenac a real storybook feel. It has the history and luxury of a landmark, but still feels welcoming. A lovely choice for a special occasion or romantic trip, and I'd stay again.

The staff really made the stay special. Ariel gave us a warm welcome at the front desk, Natalie paid close attention as our room attendant, and Maxime at Place Dufferin was very professional. We loved the pool and breakfast at Place Dufferin. Our room was comfortable, a cozy spot to watch a movie after a long day, and my friend was especially impressed by how our room service order was presented. Staying at the Fairmont in old Quebec made our Quebec City visit feel picture perfect.

I wound up spending $800 plus tax and fees for one night, and it felt worth every dollar. The service was warm but refined, every corner looked immaculate, and the view left me quietly awestruck. The hotel has a class and heritage that's hard to put into words, as if past and present fit together there. I hadn't planned to book anything. I was staying at another hotel in Lévis, and after checking out on December 28, 2025, I went sightseeing in Quartier Petit Champlain. It was bitterly cold, the kind that cuts through gloves, and I wandered the charming streets until about 4 PM, when dusk settled in. Walking back to my car, I spotted a grand building on the skyline. On a whim, without knowing its history, I went inside and found pure enchantment. ❤️

I've never stayed somewhere where every person was so friendly. Good customer service was clearly the priority. Mareka at the concierge desk on the 14th floor went out of her way to see that we had what we needed. Vincent in the gold lounge always made sure my ice latte was just right. Elyse's wine tasting and Jacob's beer tasting were phenomenal. Celine kept our room ready and even left me a birthday card since I was celebrating. I only wish I could remember everyone's name.
