Rose Hôtel Invisible

Manuel was extremely friendly and helpful, and quickly sorted out a misunderstanding about the parking lot. Service was impeccable. The rooms at the Rose hotel were brand new, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. We shared a room as a family, and the curtain between the beds was a nice touch. The location and price were very convenient too. I’d recommend it unless you need accessible entry, since there are only stairs.

The beds are raised by two steps, and with no elevator, that felt like a serious safety hazard. I tripped and fell, hit my head, and injured my leg. It’s now in a protective cast. The accident disrupted my vacation and caused a lot of inconvenience. My daughter had taken time off work to join me, but we had to find another hotel because the staff offered no meaningful help. I stayed at Hotel Rose in Quebec City, and the experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. After the incident, the hotel offered us just one free night. That didn’t address the safety issues, pain, or disruption, and felt like a token gesture rather than a real solution. I strongly urge anyone considering Hotel Rose to think twice. There are far better places to stay in Quebec City that prioritize guest safety and comfort.

We were left stranded at midnight and had to find somewhere else to stay. After booking, we were supposed to get an entry code, but none ever arrived, and the hotel has no after-hours contact number. We had even tried that morning to arrange a smooth check-in. This hotel is ridiculous. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

The room was clean, but I didn’t feel safe. Although I had a unique code to access my room, strangers unlocked the door from outside on two separate occasions. I notified the hotel right away, but they didn’t fix the problem. I can’t recommend staying here for safety reasons.
