Willow Inn Motel

They cleared the snow off my car in the morning after it snowed overnight. This is one of the most affordable, homey motels I've come across on the road between the lower 48 and Alaska. A great place for a night.

We'd read that the hotel was clean, and the reviews were right. We were just passing through Quesnel and needed a place for the night. The rooms are simple and older, but ours was spotless. The little kitchenette and fridge came in handy, and the staff were very friendly. We slept great and would definitely recommend it.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, which made this a handy stop for my mom while she was visiting Quesnel and Barkerville. You can hear some highway noise, but the motel itself was very quiet.

Owner Herman was friendly and responsive, and the place was clean and well maintained. The washroom had recently been renovated. The kitchenette came with an air conditioner, full stove, microwave, full-size fridge, a few dishes, basic cookware, a toaster, coffee maker, and a few other appliances. I only stayed one night, but with the cooking setup and full-size fridge, it would work well for a longer stay too. It's beside the roadway, so there's a bit of traffic hum. I'm not a light sleeper, though, and had no trouble sleeping.
