The staff kept going above and beyond, and the bar/BBQ joint downstairs was fantastic for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Between that, direct trail access, gas on site and those incredible mountain views from the hot tubs, this was a great home base for a week of skiing and sledding. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks for having us, Pat & Co. Also, there's a very cute dog named Dolly around, which is the cherry on top.

The smell was the big problem. Our room smelled like vomit. I told the owner/operator, who tried to help by swapping the mattresses and cleaning the carpets. That only slightly covered an odour that seemed embedded in the carpet or worse. It seemed like they'd known about it, since they'd tried cleaning before and were surprised it still smelled. The room was small and very basic. The AC looked dirty enough that I wondered if it was causing the smell, though it wasn't. The window faced an outdoor BBQ and patio area. Neither was busy or in use while we were there, but it might matter at busier times. We used the hot tubs and enjoyed one of them, while the other wasn't usable. There was a sauna, but I couldn't tell how it worked or whether it was functional. The outdoor seating areas felt homey and would probably be well used on a riding weekend with friends. Bag breakfasts and lunches were available to take away. We didn't eat on site, but it looked like a good option. We came to avoid the higher rates in town, and the location wasn't an issue for us, though the place is just off the highway if that bothers you. Aside from the smell and the room quality overall, I would have been happy with the stay.

Pat and everyone at the lodge were wonderful. We've stayed twice, and the hot tubs were amazing. On our second visit we were in a car accident, and Pat went above and beyond to help us through it. I'll stay there whenever I'm in the region.

It's a safe, family-run place that feels like home. The owners are attentive and very accommodating. There's a secure spot to park a bike, and the car park is very large. The on-site pub and restaurant have a good menu, locally smoked meat and a nice range of local and commercial beers. I highly recommend it if you're passing through by bike in summer or visiting to ski or snowmobile in winter. 5⭐️

The lodge is older, but well maintained, clean and comfortable, with everything you need and a warm, family-run feel. We stayed three nights at Peakslodge as a halfway point to meet family from Alberta, and it was a great base for day trips around Revelstoke. After hiking, the hot tubs and sauna were perfect for relaxing. The big surprise was the restaurant on site. The smoked meats were fantastic, and the fresh salads and tasty sides were full of flavor. Local beers on tap were a bonus. It's welcoming and budget friendly, and we'll definitely return.
