Harmony House

Linda made breakfast feel so welcoming. She offered slippers for the cold kitchen floor, coffee or tea, toast, and cereal, then brought me two hard-boiled eggs and a banana. We chatted while I ate, and she packed the eggs and banana for later when I left. Before that, I’d arrived just before midnight after a last-minute change of plans. Richard was friendly, showed me the bathrooms and breakfast area, gave me a couple of cookies, and took me to my upstairs room, which had its own lock and key. There was already water by the bed, and a desk fan, which made me especially happy since I sleep with a fan every night. I’d needed somewhere near VGH for an appointment the next day, with a few Marketplace pickups to make first, and this was a handy starting point. I’d happily recommend it and stay again if I’m in the area.

I've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs around Richmond, and this one was easily the cleanest and best of them.

Linda and Richard were kind and made me feel safe and welcome. Harmony House was a lovely, well-kept, clean home away from the noise of Road 3. It was a last-minute booking, and I'm glad I found it. Getting around took a little longer by public transport, or meant catching a Lyft, but Vancouver has good transit and Lyft service. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Richmond. The neighbourhood was a real highlight, and I’d recommend this place to visitors. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the hosts were available and accommodating throughout my recent stay.
