For an overnight stay near Vancouver airport, this is a good budget option if you want friendly staff, a comfortable bed, and a convenient shuttle. We only stayed one night because we had a flight the next day, and didn’t explore the calm neighborhood much. Our room was small, and we booked one without a private bathroom, but the bed and blanket were very comfortable. There’s a bathroom, dining room, fridge, and washer and dryer in the shared area. The shuttle cost 25 per trip, but it was worth it. Patrick was so friendly that we felt like we were staying overnight with family. That personal touch made the place just right for a night.

This was our first time trying a B&B, and we were happy with the choice. The room was clean and well maintained, and Patrick was very friendly and hospitable. It’s near the airport and less expensive than a hotel, so I’d recommend it to anyone looking for that. We’ll definitely come back.

Check-in and checkout were easy. It was pretty cold during our September stay, so we definitely needed the extra blankets they had available. We were lucky to get a free upgrade to a private bathroom, since otherwise it would have been shared with other guests. Breakfast was meant to start in September, but I guess it hadn’t quite started yet. They did provide coffee.

Vickie's was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, with comfortable beds and a real sense of privacy. The owners’ hospitality was what impressed me most. They waited late for my arrival, then both drove me to the airport the next day, helped with my luggage, and hugged me. They can also pick people up from the airport or SkyTrain. There are private bedrooms with bathrooms, a kitchen, breakfast, and parking. I’ve already recommended the place to fellow travelers and friends, and highly recommend it to families and everyone else. Big thank you once again, Vickie and Patrick from Helena. I feel like you’re my friends now. :-)

It felt like someone’s basement in the middle of suburbia, and the sketchy vibe didn’t help. It wasn’t terrible, but it was definitely not what was advertised and wasn’t worth the money. The bathroom was shared. I saw another couple arrive and walk straight back out because it wasn’t what they expected. I don’t recommend it. Better to spend an extra $20 and go to a motel.
