I was here for three nights this past week for job interviews and trial shifts, and it worked perfectly for me. It’s out of town, but the bus access was good from what I found, and staff were helpful and informative. Some of the criticism of the rooms in other reviews seems a little harsh. My sheets were clean. I stayed in two rooms: one needed renovations more than the other, but it was still usable. I’d definitely recommend it.

We booked at the last minute for a quick trip to Sydney. The dirt was hard to ignore: I had to wash the walls before I could sleep, and they had odd stains, flecks, and paint chips. There were cobwebs in most corners, and the grout was so dirty it left a black mark on the bath mat. The blinds were held together with packing tape, the fridge was on a power bar with exposed wires, and the bathroom fan seemed useless. They do clean the obvious things like toilets and sinks, but the rooms need a proper deep clean. Even a little scrubbing made the grout and caulking look much better, and the paint needs touching up. If we hadn’t had plans in Syndney, we probably would have left. Dated is one thing, dirty is another.

A clean, warm, quiet, functional place and good value for the money. It was just right for a night of relaxing, and parking was beside the room.

The front desk staff were wonderful, helpful, and accommodating, and the location worked perfectly for us. At $125 per night in 2025, the price was good. But my room had a strange odor that made it hard to sleep, and the mattress was old, stiff, and lumpy. There was a huge crack in the bathroom sink and mold around the faucets and shower stall. When I lifted the sheets, the mattress looked extremely old. My room was worse than my friend’s, so perhaps you’ll get a slightly better one, but even budget travelers may not find these rooms suitable. The place badly needs repairs, and I wouldn’t stay again unless they renovated.
