We loved the idea behind this auberge and would happily return to see how the renovations turn out. It has the freedom of a hostel, with a shared kitchen that’s well equipped enough for anything from a quick snack to banana bread, along with hotel-style hospitality. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and inviting. Jason was really friendly and suggested things to do nearby. The place is also connected to the Quebec Issime group, which puts on shows around the region, so you may hear music playing in the background. We came across it on a road trip and were glad we did.

It’s a convenient base, about 15 minutes from the area’s best restaurants. The inn was clean and well looked after, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay: a kitchen, prepared meals for an extra fee, and a full bathroom with a hairdryer and bathrobe. The renovation is nicely done, with tasteful updates that still leave the place’s old-world charm intact.

The host was kind and ready to help, and the place felt peaceful, clean, and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the common areas, where it was easy to share stories and local knowledge. My friends and family have all been just as pleased as I have, so I recommend it to them.
