We only spent about 4 hours there, but that was enough to explore the area and try the activities we cared about. We had fun hiking, doing archery, zip lining, and canoeing. For the hike, I strongly recommend bringing mosquito repellent! The staff were friendly and helpful, and it's a lovely spot to spend time in nature.

The location is really nice and everything was very clean. The food is simple, but good.

I recommend visiting with a group of 5 or more. Bring bug repellent and sunscreen, there are lots of bugs. In early August, frogs and toads come out at night and mostly keep to themselves. Some are easy to catch. During the day, there are little toads by the stream too. They're quick, but easy to catch if you corner them. I got myself a new pet.

I was there with a group of 13 kids, and the staff on site stayed positive and engaged the whole time. They were amazing and very professional. I'd highly recommend it for outdoor groups. Take a minute to check out the shelters, and maybe make one or two.

The calm here is what makes it feel like such a retreat. It's a great place for families to spend time together, friends to make memories, or solo visitors to find some peace away from everyday distractions. If you enjoy being outdoors or just want to reconnect with nature, Plein Air Lanaudière is a sanctuary I highly recommend. I left with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. There's a huge variety of things to do, from hiking and camp firing to archery or a relaxed picnic by the water. The facilities are well maintained, and the friendly staff help make a visit comfortable and enjoyable. They're knowledgeable and passionate about the outdoors, ready with advice or a hand when needed. Their care for the environment and support for responsible outdoor activities deserve praise. Lush woods, a serene lake, and picturesque trails make this heart-of-Lanaudière hideaway beautiful to explore on foot or by bike. The fresh, crisp air and unspoiled scenery were incredibly rejuvenating. It's a paradise for nature lovers and people looking for an adventure, with a chance to get away from the city's hustle and bustle.
