La Belle aux Berges

I’m already dreaming about getting another chance to return to this beautiful auberge. It made a lovely getaway, with Montreal close enough for a day trip. The garden behind the house is kept up beautifully and slopes down to the river. The host’s hospitality was top notch, and he made a fabulous breakfast. Even the linens felt soft and luxurious. The place has been restored and designed so thoughtfully. It really does feel magical.

We’re already trying to come up with an excuse to visit again this fall. My wife and I had such a relaxing stay, and it was worth every penny. The accommodations and location were excellent, and breakfast was incredible, especially since it was included. The owner was a genuinely enjoyable gentleman and went out of his way to make our stay feel better than five star. And what a chef!

The host treated us like royalty, and the location was beautiful. We had an unbelievable breakfast prepared by the chef, included with the room. It was a perfect spot for our anniversary. The whole experience was incredible, with six star service. When we’re in the area, this is the only place we’ll stay from now on.

The backyard landscape is amazing, and there’s a pool too, though it was closed during my stay since the season had ended. I was there for two nights on business and had a great experience. Sylvain took care of me, explained all the available options in detail when I checked in, and prepared two unforgettable breakfasts with grace and professionalism. The house is tastefully decorated. Alain told me he’d done the decorating himself and had changed the décor three times over the last few years. He definitely has an eye for aesthetics. Highly recommended and fairly priced. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.
