Auberge du Vieux Moulin

We rent the house every year with our family, and there’s room for everyone. The kids love fishing at the little pond and always catch something quickly. Everyone enjoys the spa and indoor pool. It’s so nice!

We had such a good time that we’d absolutely go back. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and our kids especially loved seeing the deer and elk. We stayed in one of the Cool Boxes for several nights. It was comfortable, with excellent climate control and a good range of amenities, including a kitchen, oven, and microwave. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the TV had a full selection of channels. We made plenty of use of the hot tub, BBQ, and fire table on the deck. There was a lot to do nearby, including paddle boarding, paddle boats, kayaking, and canoeing. The site is also close to some nice hiking parks. There are indoor and outdoor pools that looked amazing, but we didn’t get a chance to use them with so much else to do.

The dinners were truly amazing, and breakfast was delicious too, though a bit more on the classy side. We stayed with our dog and had a delightful time at Auberge du Vieux Moulin. There’s plenty to do, from snowmobiles to skiing and snow bikes, and the spa was wonderful. It did get noisy at times when families with children were there. Even so, we had a great stay and are planning to return. It’s a place with everything you need for an enjoyable getaway. 🤩

We’ve stayed here a few more times since I first wrote this, and still love the place. It’s a great spot for New Year’s, and we’ll definitely be back again. We first came for a week of snowmobiling. The lodge has beautiful views and great access to the trails. Kevin was the best and helped with whatever we needed. The rooms are nice and rustic, with lots of public sitting areas for groups, a lovely dining area, an indoor pool, saunas, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The food was excellent, with a menu that changed each day. The staff were very friendly and did their best to understand our English.
