Davis Brook Retreat

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was a lovely surprise. She accommodated my partner’s celiac disease and served us little parfaits, fresh muffins, fruit, and a hard-boiled egg. The hosts were so personable, kind, and hospitable. They’re currently training a dog, and both dogs were very sweet. We left in a rush to catch the ferry, so I forgot to check the mattress and take a photo, lol. This B&B is incredible. I’ll definitely be back.

Lili, Rio, and their family made this an amazing stay for me and my partner. I especially appreciated their generous hospitality and kindness. Lili made us some great muffins the night before for breakfast, and the furnishings were comfortable with plenty of light. Having a pool is a must for me, and I always like to stay somewhere with one. They also have a gentle, friendly trained dog, Pixie, who’s optional and doesn’t cost extra. Amazing people and a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

Lili made a Michelin-level breakfast every morning and answered all our questions about local things to do and see. During our Canada Day visit, we also learned from a local what the day and its traditions mean to people in Sechelt. The view from our room each morning was beautiful, as were the views from the lovely balcony. After a long hike, it was great to relax in the jacuzzi tub in our room. Lili, Rio, and Pixie were wonderful hosts, and their home was clean, beautiful, and well cared for. It’s a five-minute drive to a great kayak rental spot, where we saw gorgeous inlet scenery and wildlife. We also did about five lovely trails, all roughly 30-40 minutes away. I’d give more than five stars if I could, and we’ll definitely return one day. Adding the Pixie photo tax because she’s just precious.
