The breakfast was lovely, but the owner's leashed dog barked and whined so much outside the door that it was hard to talk. I was surprised nothing was done about it. After we finished eating, the dog was let into the dining room and jumped right on the table, while another went straight into the kitchen. Some training for the dogs would make the visit much nicer.

We stayed in the 1878 mansion with family and had a really fun time. There was lots of interesting decor, and everyone enjoyed chatting with the owner. The host let us pick the room that worked best for us and use the big pool table. All four of us slept comfortably, and the large TV and shower both worked well. Breakfast was generous, with eggs, ham, sausages, pancakes, strawberries, yogurt, and juice. The fire pit was still going outside, and we even saw a fox walking around. We'd stay again and recommend it.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good, but those were about the only positives for me. The building is slanted throughout, and the deck off our room looked as if it might collapse if anyone stepped on it. The front doors were left open all day, so all kinds of critters could get in. Our bathroom window wouldn't shut and had no screen to keep pests out. There was a huge TV, but every channel needed a sign-in and the room had no instructions. I peeked into the kitchen and wasn't satisfied with its cleanliness, so we left before breakfast. The host was good, but the building seemed beyond repair.

Brady went so far above and beyond to look after us during our project that we still can't express how grateful we are. The breakfasts were brilliant, and the rooms were very clean with nice facilities. I especially enjoyed the pool table on rainy evenings. Lucy was such a lovely, friendly dog, and I'll miss her. We couldn't have asked for a better stay or experience.

The host was so friendly and stayed up for us when we arrived from the ferry at 1 a.m. The room was comfortable, the bathroom clean, and breakfast delicious with a real homey feel. Charming Bnb, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area :)
