Hotel Squamish

This works for a cheap one-night stay, and that's about it. The room was mostly clean, but the toilet bowl clearly hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Several things needed simple repairs: the sink faucet shifted when touched because it wasn't secured, the window crank was missing so the window couldn't close fully, and the old mattress had no edge support left. I did appreciate touches like the pedestal fan. We had the room advertised as being above the noisy restaurant, and I appreciated the warning, but the restaurant shuts at 9 pm, so it didn't affect our sleep. The rooms could use some TLC, but it's decent for a short stay.

Everything we needed was in the clean room: coffee, tea, cups, a fridge, and a microwave. The bathroom soaps were really nice too. We booked the room with the noise waiver and didn't find it noisy at all. The location is fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it's a great budget hotel. I'd definitely stay again, including in that same room.

We stayed four nights at a very affordable price, and the location was great. We walked to a restaurant for breakfast and to the park for Thursday night's music. The room was clean and a good size. The only snag was getting more coffee: there wasn't anyone at the counter to ask unless we had the room cleaned every day, and I think every two days is plenty. I'd still definitely stay again.

The rooms are small but passable. Noise was the main issue for me. You can hear people in the hallway and doors opening and closing, as well as conversations from the rooms next door. I found it annoying.
